Services
Whether you are an Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care community member, our living options include a wide variety of exceptional services. From scheduled transportation to weekly housekeeping, every day we challenge ourselves to make your stay here as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Please see a sampling of our services below. Scheduled Transportation: The Lodge at Otter Creek has designated shuttles that can bring you where you need to go. Need to visit the Dentist or schedule a Doctor's appointment? Transportation service is available, call the Concierge to schedule our driver to bring you to personal appointments. Transportation within a 30-mile radius of the facility will be at no cost to the resident, within the allowance of 4 round-trips per month. Any additional trips, trips exceeding the 30-mile radius, and/or private transportation may be arranged with applicable fees. Regularly planned trips, such as shopping, group outings and scheduled activities are at no charge to the resident. The shuttle also picks up and returns Cottage residents nightly for dinner.
Weekly Housekeeping: We provide complimentary housekeeping services once a week. The routine housekeeping service includes:
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- A thorough cleaning of your bathroom and kitchen area.
In addition, your bed linens (sheets and pillowcases) will be changed and washed as part of your weekly service. Additional housekeeping services may be arranged at an additional charge.
Maintenance: Our Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep of all property and equipment owned by the community. Residents may contact the Concierge for any help with maintenance related issues. The following is a list of services that maintenance personnel provide at no cost to you, additional maintenance may also be contracted for an extra charge:
- Repair of all included kitchen appliances.
- Repair of air conditioning/heating units and change of filter.
- Repair of interior walls, floors, ceilings, windows, doors, cabinets, locks and bath fixtures when damage is no fault of yours.
24-Hour Concierge Service: Our Concierge is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing residents with assistance in daily personal matters, questions, scheduling and overall personal security.
24-Hour Emergency Call System: The Lodge at Otter Creek provides a state-of-the-art emergency alert system. Incorporated into our building is an emergency call system, which provides each resident with the means to alert the Concierge of a concern or health emergency. Emergency pendants worn around your neck or on your wrist are also offered for additional protection. Pendants work everywhere on the property and identify your location.
Medication Management: Residents living in The Shores & Meadows Assisted Living and Haven Memory Program, receive assistance with or administration of medications. The Lodge contracts with a local pharmacy service to have medications bubble-packed and ready for residents upon move in. Our Health Services staff also manages prescription refills.
Physical Therapy On Site: The Lodge at Otter Creek offers physical therapy to residents, with a variety of therapeutic programs designed to allow every resident to experience the best quality of life while maintaining or regaining function, health and well-being.
Enhanced Services Program (ESP) and Priority Access to Next Levels of Living: Our Enhanced Services Program is designed for Independent Living community members, who may prefer or require some additional personal assistance to include: meal planning, medication and appointment reminders, clothing selection and dressing assistance, personal hygiene, pet care, arrangement of appointments, escort to appointments and much, much more. Priority Access to Next Levels of Care: All residents have priority access to the next levels of care if need be. In addition, we also offer tiered services above and beyond those included in the base monthly fee that are provided in time increments based on a resident's particular needs and are charged accordingly.
