Respite, Rehabilitation and Seasonal Stays are available on a short-term basis in a fully-furnished apartment or Cottage based on availability. Our programs allow the caregiver time away, while also offering the opportunity for family members and loved ones to experience The Lodge lifestyle. You can help ease the transition from hospital to home, provide an alternative living situation in the event a primary caregiver is temporarily unavailable, or simply take a restorative break from the everyday physical and emotional demands of providing at-home care for seniors.

The Respite Care Program can also provide the opportunity for an individual and their family to determine if residency at our Vermont retirement community would be suitable on a more permanent basis. All levels of care are available including Independent Living, Assisted Living and our Haven Memory Care Program. Guests receive the same outstanding level of services, care and personal treatment available to our permanent residents-all for an affordable daily fee. Spend a few weeks or more at The Lodge at Otter Creek, it's a wonderful way to get to know us.

Seasonal Stays are also available for two weeks or more. Spend the glorious leaf peeping months of October and November in a furnished Cottage, surrounded by the vibrant colors of fall. Opt to take advantage of an escape from the summer heat in warmer climates and enjoy a Vermont summer or stay at The Lodge during the winter months to ensure a safe and warm environment without the hassles of home upkeep.
